FLAME RETARDANT UNDERWEAR
Dressing right is essential for a safe working day. With Tranemo's Flame Retardant base layers, the first protective layer in our Skinsafe™ system, you get complete and safe protection from the inside out. Remember to also wear Flame Retardant underwear. Using non-Flame Retardant underwear can lead to serious consequences in case of an arc flash accident, for example.
Tranemo only uses fabrics with inherent Flame Retardancy, which means that the protection is permanent and cannot be washed out or worn away. Our Flame Retardant base layers, Cantex and Merino, provide reliable and long-lasting protection. All our base layers and underwear are certified to international safety standards for maximum peace of mind.
MORE INFORMATION
Cantex - Flame Retardant underwear in durable materials The Cantex collection offers Flame Retardant underwear made from modacrylic and cotton, with half of the cotton being recycled. Recycling cotton reduces the need for new cotton production and saves natural resources. Cantex JX consists of Flame Retardant long johns and undershirts and T-shirts, while Cantex JL offers a wide range of Flame Retardant lingerie, such as bras, tank tops, boxer briefs and maternity panties together with men´s boxer shorts.
Merino - Flame Retardant underwear with high comfort The merino wool in our underwear is naturally Flame Retardant, anti-static and very comfortable. Wool has naturally good insulating properties and retains heat even when it gets damp, making it ideal for demanding working environments. In addition, Merino wool can resist bad odours, providing increased comfort during longer work shifts. Our three collections; Merino RX, Merino FX and Merino TX, offer different thicknesses for varying work environments:
All Tranemo Flame Retardant underwear is certified to international safety standards, such as EN ISO 11612 and EN 61482-2. Each garment has unique certifications that are customized to meet specific requirements and ensure the right level of protection for different work environments. |
